When we preordered the Eahora Romeo Pro II last summer, we were brimming with anticipation for this moped-style electric bike. The specs boasted an impressive 3000W motor, a 52V 40Ah battery, and the capability to conquer off-road terrains as easily as city streets. Perfect for thrill-seekers and daily commuters alike, the Romeo Pro II seemed like the perfect adventure companion. But while we prepared ourselves for exhilarating rides, the bike’s journey to us was anything but smooth.
The first hiccup was the wait. Initially promised for a much quicker delivery, the Romeo Pro II got caught in customs, resulting in a month long delay. When the bike finally arrived, it was split into three separate boxes, each with its own set of mysteries and two different tracking numbers to keep an eye on. This made the unboxing feel like a game of logistical chess. Eahora, to their credit, had secured the contents well, and each part came out of the box in pristine condition.
Assembly, although a bit tedious, gave us a glimpse of what this bike could be. The wide, knobby tires were sturdy and aggressive, clearly designed for gripping the most challenging of surfaces. The high-grade suspension promised smooth rides over potholes and rugged trails. While putting it all together, we admired the attention to detail: the powerful LED headlight, the wide seat built for comfort, and the sleek, modern look of the frame.
However, all that anticipation, effort, and careful setup led to an unexpectedly abrupt end. Before we could take our first ride, the Romeo Pro II was stolen, a heartbreaking event that left us without the chance to experience the ebike’s true potential. Our misfortune serves as a critical reminder for anyone considering a high-end ebike: invest in premium security measures. Theft can happen quickly, and a heavy-duty lock is an essential companion to your new ride.
Despite this unfortunate incident, our limited experience with the Eahora Romeo Pro II left us with a deep appreciation for the craftsmanship and design that went into this bike. We can only imagine the rush of hitting the throttle on its dual 3000W motor setup, but we’ve learned a valuable lesson: your investment deserves as much protection as it does admiration.
For those intrigued by the Romeo Pro II, make sure to check it out and prepare accordingly for both adventures and precautions.
Thank you to Eahora for the images, as we weren’t able to capture any.
